The candle on this page is burning for my
brother Jos, who passed on October 3th, 2000.
A few days before he celebrated his 39th
birthday. A year earlier, there was diagnosed
cancer in his head, a brain tumor.

That was in September 1999. My little boy Jonathan
was one month old, and we were so happy,
 with such a beautiful child, who came to us
after such a long time of waiting for him! 
I was so happy with him, however, the illness
of my brother overshadowed my happyness.
I had hope, against my better judgement, 
that he might be healthy again.

 I read this poem on his funaral.

He has a wife and 2 daughters.

See You.

I don't say goodbye
because I cherish the memory of you
in my heart,
in hope and trust,
that we will see each other again.

I don't say goodbye,
I wish you a good journey,
on your way to the Great Light of Love.
In my heart you are alive and full of Light,
and I say to you, see you again.
